Diego Silva

Diego is a former RSL/Monarchs Player who played on serval youth National Teams for US SOCCER and D1 Player at the University of Maryland

Coach Diego was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he played for Racing Youth Academy. He moved to Utah where he played high-level club soccer, and was invited to play for Utah ODP and made the Region IV team which led him to receive his first US Youth National Team Call Up at 14. He then went on to play at the Real Salt Lake Academy where he won a National Championship and received multiple US National Team call ups. After graduating he went on to play at the University of Maryland where he won two Big 10 tournaments and earned a U-20 Men’s National Team Call Up. He then went on to join Real Salt Lake’s first team/Real Monarchs for 2 years. After the 2 years he signed a contract at Stumptown Athletic in North Carolina where he began his coaching career.
